Immigration Essentials is a full-service immigration consulting firm founded by Christian Akwara. A lawyer from Nigeria and himself an immigrant to Canada, Christian has professional and personal experience to help you with your immigration and citizenship goals. Christian received some of the country’s highest academic honours when he completed his law degree in 1997, and he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1998. He went on to complete his Masters of Law in 2000, and he earned further certifications in taxation, commerce and arbitration during his legal practice and lengthy private sector career. It was his own immigration journey that opened his eyes to the confusion and challenges faced by so many people seeking a safer and better life. After arriving in Canada through the Federal Skilled Worker program, he went back to school to become a regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. He now runs his own business helping others navigate the many different pathways to come to the country he loves so much.
